The Friends of Coeur d’Alene Park is an all-volunteer group committed to the restoration and maintenance of the parks and public green spaces in Spokane’s Browne’s Addition. General meetings are held quarterly to discuss events and activities in the park, available grant opportunities for improvements, and, specific improvements to the park’s structures and plantings.

 Our Goals

Raise awareness of the history of Coeur d’Alene Park in Browne’s Addition.

Work with The City of Spokane Parks and Recreation Department to create a comprehensive plan for the two parks in Browne’s Addition ~ Coeur d’Alene Park and Overlook park.

Provide input to the comprehensive planning process in order to make the park a safe place to be ~ and to restore the historic feel of Coeur d’Alene park while meeting the needs of today’s residents.

Spearhead fund-raising for park restoration and on-going maintenance projects.

Provide “feet on the ground” work on park projects such as spring plantings.
