Howling Gaels Sing to a Calm Crowd

A wind blew through Coeur d’Alene Park as the Howling Gaels brought a fresh sound of Irish music with a twist. Caridwen Spatz played her hand-made fiddle and used her pure lyrical voice to entertain with songs in Gaelic, French, and yes, English. Meanwhile, the talent of her fellow musicians came through loud and clear as the crowd listened to the unique sounds of the penny whistle, the bodhran and the cajon, among other instruments. This was Celtic Music at its best for the last concert of the 2017 series.
